About Us

4Point was founded in 2015 as a youth taekwondo program in southside Edmonton. Led by a number of experienced instructors, our team combines the principles of taekwondo to begin developing strong athletes and citizens within the community.

Our name, 4Point, is representative of the way our instructors strive to be the most effective teachers for our students. As the 4 points of our program state, we believe that steady progress, all-around performance, perseverance, and passion serve as the teaching tools to create young athletes and leaders.

Why We Started

When starting 4Point we wanted to create a family environment which we (Magdalena & I) had during our competitive days. Our team consisted of individuals of all different backgrounds and abilities, however we all had one goal: To be the best athlete we could become.

We came to training a lot because we enjoyed each other’s company. We worked hard, because we kept each other accountable to our goals. We cheered each other on when we succeeded and brought each other up when we needed it. We became lifelong friends in and outside of the dojang. This is the exact community we would love to build at 4Point

We can’t wait to have you as part of our 4Point family.

Performance

We make every effort to improve our students’ abilities in more than just taekwondo. We want to see every child perform better in the classroom, at home, and in the community.

Progress

We are firm believers that it’s not where you start that matters – it’s where you finish. Our team is committed to the progress of every child as they develop into strong athletes and community leaders.

Perseverance

We value the positive impact that perseverance has in our daily lives. We want to teach our students the physical and mental skills to push through adversity and reach their goals.

Passion

We teach taekwondo because we love it. Our team wants to share this enthusiasm with the students and teach them to be passionate about the work that they do.
