No, but you should have solid basics and a willingness to train hard. We prepare students for their first tournaments and beyond, teaching both technical skills and competition strategies.
In addition to regular Taekwondo classes, team members attend extra training sessions, which are scheduled based on tournament seasons. The commitment varies, but consistency is key to progress.
All members need World Taekwondo-approved sparring gear, including a helmet, chest protector, forearm and shin guards, gloves, and a mouthguard. We’ll help you get the right equipment.
While competition is the focus, participation is based on readiness and goals. Some students aim for local events, while others set their sights on nationals. Coaches will guide you on the best path for your development.
No! While many students start young, we have teen and adult competitors as well. If you’re serious about sparring and competition, there’s a place for you.
Parents are a huge part of the journey! From supporting training to traveling for tournaments, they become part of a close-knit community that celebrates every milestone.
Sparring is a challenging but rewarding experience. We encourage all students to commit to at least a few sessions to truly understand its benefits. However, if it’s not the right fit, students can continue training in our regular Taekwondo program.
